A friend of ours hooked us up with a friend of hers that owns a cottage down there and we got a sweet, off-season rate for a house that was a stone's throw from the ocean. Not that it wasn't ass-freezing cold on the beach. But the sun was out the whole weekend and the Cape was still pretty dead this time of year.
